La Peninsula Community Organization early childhood centers are in one of the poorest congressional districts in the country.
While government grant money supports 80% of the program’s operation, each year La Pen strives to raise the remaining 20% through donations. With donor support funds we can help Head Start families with mental health support services, food pantries, financial literacy workshops, on-site paid internship, etc. Whether through a one-time gift or monthly giving, YOU can make the difference in the life of someone in the Bronx community.
